Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Venetian plastering services provided by Plastering Perfect Ltd to the customer.

 

1. Deposits & Booking

1.1. A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking.

1.2. No dates will be allocated until the deposit has been received in full.

1.3. Once the deposit is paid, you will be provided with your confirmed start date.

 

2. Cooling-Off Period & Cancellations

2.1. You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date the deposit is paid.

2.2. If you cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period, your deposit will be refunded in full.

2.3. If you cancel after the 14-day cooling-off period, the deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.

2.4. Cancellations must be made in writing (email or text message with confirmation).

 

3. Job Readiness & Site Conditions

3.1. It is your responsibility to ensure all areas booked for work are fully prepared prior to our arrival.

3.2. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Walls must be smooth to the touch.

• The surface must be properly prepared and ready to receive Venetian plaster (equivalent to a paint-ready finish unless otherwise agreed).

• All previous trades must be completed and the working area must be clear.

 

3.3. If we arrive and the job is not ready, meaning we are unable to carry out the work, the following will apply:

• The deposit will be lost, and

• You may incur additional charges for the days lost as a result of the site not being ready.

 

3.4. If extra preparation is required beyond what was originally agreed, additional charges may apply. These will be discussed before any further work is undertaken.

 

4. VAT

4.1. Plastering Perfect Ltd is VAT registered.

4.2. VAT will be added to all prices and quotes (unless specifically stated otherwise).

4.3. If this was not previously discussed with you, please note that VAT still applies as a legal requirement.

 

5. Workforce & Sub-Contractors

5.1. At times, additional qualified workers or subcontractors may assist with your project.

5.2. You may not always see the same team members throughout the job, but all personnel working on behalf of Plastering Perfect Ltd are experienced and authorised by us.

 

6. Liability & Access

6.1. You must ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area at all times.

6.2. We are not responsible for delays caused by restricted access, unsafe conditions, or interference from other trades.

6.3. Any delays caused by you may result in additional charges.

 

7. Completion & Payments

7.1. Final payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7.2. Materials remain the property of Plastering Perfect Ltd until full payment is received.

7.3. Failure to make payment may result in additional charges or legal recovery action.

 

8. Finishes & Variations

8.1. Venetian plaster is a hand-applied, artisan finish; natural variation in tone, texture, and pattern is expected.

8.2. No two surfaces will be identical, and this is considered part of the product’s character, not a defect.

 

9. Additional Costs

Extra costs may be applied for:

• Changes to the agreed scope of work (on arrival when looks different from what was sent on what’s app or email) 

• Additional preparation not discussed in the original quote

• Delays caused by other trades or lack of site readiness

• Parking fees, tolls, or congestion charges (if applicable)

 

 

10. Acceptance of Terms

By paying the deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
